I'm sorry I don't. You might have some luck looking online at sites like the Library of Congress, or going to your public or school library and looking through books.

It isn't my recipe, I just reviewed the book. Looking at the recipe it specifically mentions that this recipe does not include eggs. Looking at the instructions and ingredients, I do have a few ideas. First, the butter needs to be room temperature. This effects the temperature of the dough and how the dough will bake. If your kitchen is cool, you might even need to zap it in the microwave for just a few seconds. Second, make sure you are measuring the flour carefully. I do not weigh my flour, but I do stir the flour to loosen it up and then spoon it into the measuring cup before leveling it off with a flat edge. Scooping the flour can pack it down and mean you are getting more than needed which can make the cookie dry and tough and keep it from spreading. Third, perhaps the cookies should be flatten a little more before baking.

In your recipe for Mocha Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cookies there are no eggs listed as an ingredient. Is this correct? My dough was extremely dry and firm and did not look like pictures I had seen of the finished product. Thanks for your response.

I don't think I've seen that episode, I'll have to look for it. I like this cover too, I wonder what the new American cover will look like.
