Thanks to the generous people at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers I have not one, but two advanced copies of a recent favorite to give away: Twenty Boy Summer. To make things interesting, I will also throw in another recent book from my stash. In the book, Frankie and Anna vow to have the Absolutely Best Summer Ever! What would make this a great summer is to get all my summer jobs completed and still have time to visit several zoos with my granddaughter. I would also spend a week at the beach on the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

No stress, no demands! Lots of shopping and lots of sleep!

Best summer ever? For me it would be a lot of weekend BBQ and pool parties, with many weeknights free for reading on the couch.

What would be best this summer would be to accomplish all I’ve hoped to accomplish in a summer. I always overplan and can’t get it all done leading to regrets when school starts.

Since I just started a new library job in February, this would be the best summer ever if I could get summer teen programming numbers way up to impress my bosses. Also awesome, would be to win tickets to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with the cast.

It would be super fantastic to have the whole summer off to travel, explore, hike, kayak, and read (of course). I’m trying to get activities in wherever I can – finally hiked all the way around Lake Geneva (Wisconsin) this past Sunday! That’s one thing I can cross off my life list!

Hurrah for ARCs!
My summer is looking great– I’m really into my new job here at the La Porte County Public Library, my husband and I are back living in the same time zone, I’ll be visiting my family next week for the first time in 2 years, and I’m looking forward to going to a wedding in DC in August. The only thing that would improve this summer is if I had more time to enjoy the sun, but my vacation hours don’t start accruing for another 3 months. Free books would help.

What would make this Summer the best Summer ever? A successful and innovative Summer Reading Club, a great time at ALA Chicago, the Red Wings to win the Stanly Cup and for Comic-Con San Diego to be more awesome than it was last year-quite the feat indeed.

Because I don’t have a boyfriend this summer (I did last year), I plan to spend as much time as I can with my twin sister and mom even if things are going crazy- atleast we can laugh about nonsense!

Hmm, my best summer ever? Well, I think that would be when my 4 year old horse Bailee and I entered lots of horse shows and did really well. I would want to learn a lot as a rider, and teach my horse a lot of advanced things. I would also want my best summer to be full of books, and would went to spend two weeks in Greece. I also would want to spend lots of time with my friends!!! Great contest!
